PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY EFT PAYMENTS (OR CASH DEPOSITS INTO OUR BANK, NOT ON SITE) ARE ACCEPTED. NO CHEQUES ARE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. HOWEVER, ANY HARD CASH DEPOSITS ATTRACT A 1% FEE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

REGISTRATION/BIDDING DEPOSIT OF RS 000-00 EFT (ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER). REFUNDABLE FOR UNSUCCESSFUL BIDS ONLY. FOREIGN NATIONALS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A R20,000 DEPOSIT. PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING DEPOSITS FOR UNSUCCESSFUL BIDS WILL BE REFUNDED BETWEEN 7 AND 10 DAYS AFTER AUCTION.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NUMBER PLATES WILL BE REMOVED FROM ALL AUCTION VEHICLES (AFTER VEHICLES HAVE BEEN PAID FOR) AS SOON AS IT'S BEING COLLECTED FROM THE AUCTION SITE. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU COME WITH YOUR TRADE PLATES OR TEMPORARY PERMITS WHEN COLLECTING VEHICLES.

VEHICLES ARE SOLD ACCORDING TO YEAR OF FIRST REGISTRATION AND NOT YEAR OF MANUFACTURE. YEAR OF MANUFACTURE IS UNKNOWN TO AUCTION OPERATION AND NO QUERIES WILL BE ENTERTAINED REGARDING YEAR OF MANUFACTURE.

PAPER (NATIS) DELAYS MAY BE EXPERIENCED FROM TIME TO TIME AND IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. WE DO OUR UTMOST TO RESOLVE DELAYS AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. NO CANCELLATIONS ARE PERMITTED ON ACCOUNT OF PAPER DELAYS.

PLEASE REGISTER OR DEALER-STOCK YOUR VEHICLES IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE AUCTION TO AVOID COMPLICATIONS. AUCTION OPERATION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, NEITHER ENTERTAIN THE RESOLUTION OF ANY PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED BY THE BUYER IF HE/SHE DID NOT REGISTER THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE AUCTION.

TELEPHONE BIDS FROM VALID REGISTERED BUYERS ARE PERMITTED, PROVIDED THAT THE BUYER PAYS A DEPOSIT OF R10 000, IRRESPECTIVE IF THE BUYER HAS A PERMANENT NUMBER OR NOT

MANDATED BIDS FROM VALID REGISTERED BUYERS ARE PERMITTED. THESE MANDATES MUST BE IN WRITING ONLY (NO EXCEPTIONS) AND MUST BE HANDED TO THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE BEFORE PROCEEDING TO BID ON AUCTION.

ANY PERSON BIDDING ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER PERSON OR COMPANY MAY ONLY DO SO IF HE/SHE HAS OBTAINED A WRITTEN MANDATE FROM THE RIGHTFUL REGISTERED BUYER.

BUYERS CARDS/NUMBERS (PERMANENT AND OTHER) ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE. DO NOT ALLOW ANOTHER PERSON/COMPANY TO USE YOUR BUYERS CARD/BUYER NUMBER TO BID ON AUCTIONS. THE REGISTERED BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL VEHICLES PURCHASED ON HIS/HER NUMBER.

ONLY REGISTERED BUYERS ARE PERMITTED TO BID ON AN AUCTION. ANY PERSON INTENDING TO BID MUST REGISTER FIRST - NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.

ANY PERSON/COMPANY BUYING MORE THAN ONE VEHICLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF ALL THE VEHICLES PURCHASED.

EACH AND EVERY LOT WILL BE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALL INFORMATION REGARDING THE LOTS IN THE CATALOGUE ARE STATEMENTS OF OPINION ONLY AND SHALL NEVER IMPLY ANY GUARANTEES AS TO THE CORRECTNESS OF ANY INFORMATION SUPPLIED EITHER VERBALLY OR IN WRITING ABOUT ANY LOT. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THE GOODS AND IN MAKING A BID SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE MADE HIMSELF FULLY ACCQUAINTED WITH THE GOODS FOR WHICH HE BIDS.

PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF FULLY ACQUAINTED WITH LOTS FOR WHICH YOU INTEND TO BID, I.E. SAP VIN NUMBERS AND CODE 3 OR CODE 4, "REPAIR AND RETURN" AND SUCH, WHICH ARE CLEARLY MARKED.

PLEASE NOTE SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR "REPAIR AND RETURN" VEHICLES SOLD FOR SANTAM: THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MICRO DOTTING THE VEHICLE AND PRESENTING IT FOR SAPS CLEARANCE. SANTAM WILL PROVIDE A LETTER OF AUTHORISATION TO DO A CLEARANCE ON BEHALF OF SANTAM AS WELL AS A COPY OF THE DEREGISTRATION CERTIFICATE TO THE BUYER. ONCE THE BUYER HAS OBTAINED A CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE, THE CERTIFICATE MUST BE HANDED TO SANTAM WHO WILL IN TURN DEALER-STOCK THE VEHICLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND RETURN THE DEALER-STOCKED NATIS TO THE BUYER.

CODE 4 MEANS SOLD FOR SPARES ONLY AND NO PAPERS ARE AVAILABLE.

NO MECHANICAL REPAIRS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE YARD/WAREHOUSE. YOU MAY ONLY WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE PURCHASED AFTER IT HAS BEEN PAID FOR OUTSIDE THE AUCTION SITE AND YARD (PUBLIC AREA).

ALL GOODS ARE SOLD WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER AND THE VEHICLE SUPPLIERS AND AUCTION OPERATION ARE NOT LIABLE TO DISCHARGE THE DUTY OF REPAIR ON VEHICLES.

ENGINE AND VIN NUMBERS OF VEHICLES WILL BE SUPPLIED ON REQUEST ONLY.

AUCTION OPERATION ARE NOT PERMITTED TO SPLIT INVOICES AS PER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2008 {ACT NO. 68 OF 2008) AND WILL THEREFORE NOT ENTERTAIN ANY REQUESTS TO THAT EFFECT.

NO CANCELLATIONS OF PURCHASES ARE PERMITTED.

AUCTION OPERATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY MILEAGES DISPLAYED ON THE VEHICLES.

PERMANENT BUYERS MUST REPORT AND SIGN-IN ON AN ATTENDANCE REGISTER AT THE ADMINISTRATION WINDOW.

Subject to regulation 30(2), every prospective bidder must prior to the commencement of an auction register his or her identity in the bidder's record, and such registration must with the necessary changes meet the requirements of Chapter 1 of the regulations in terms of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001, published in Notice No R. 1595 in Gazette No 24176 of 20 December 2002, in respect of establishment and verification of identity, and sign that entry.

  9. CIPRO print out (to confirm the identity of all members or directors) NOT OLDER THAN 1 (ONE) YEAR (Please note : self-printed copies from Windeed, Deed Search, etc, may not be used) 10. Letter from the entity’s accountant/auditor/company secretary/director/other authorized person confirming the names of those holding 25% voting rights at general meetings. TRUSTS

  2. Trust Deed

  3. Letter of authority issued by the master of the high court

  4. Authorization letter to purchase on behalf of the trust

  5. Tax clearance certificate (If VAT Registered)

  6. Proof of Residential Address of all Trustees **

  7. Proof of Business Address for the Trust **

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Buyers residing or operating from someone else's premises must have an Absa declaration completed by the owner of the property where buyer resides/operates from, accompanied by said owner’s original ID book/Smart Card ID and proof of address ** at an Absa branch/office stating that the buyer is living at the said owner’s address.

  • A lease agreement may be submitted for those renting from agencies.

  • Only original documents may be submitted in respect of ID Books, Smart Card IDs, Passports, Valid VISA's or Traffic Register Certificates.

  • A driver’s license is required (to be scanned into the system) before any vehicles may be released.

  • Unfortunately, drivers’ licenses may NOT be used as a proof of identification.

REMINDER – REGISTRATION DEPOSITS REQUIRED AS PER AUCTION RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

  • SA CITIZENS / SA ENTITIES                        R5,000.00
